Sol DeVille is a dynamic, high energy, seasoned multi-genre band. We play true to form arrangements of  Country, Blues, R&B, Soul, Funk, Pop and original material.
We are constantly adding songs and have a nice variety of original interpretations and spot on covers.

We are performing somewhere on the Northern Arizona circuit weekly and hope to see you at a show, so take a look at our schedule or drop us a line.

Rick Hartfiel- Drums, Vocals

Rick performed professionally for 20 years as a full-time nightclub and studio musician. He has opened for national acts such as Tommy James,The Grass Roots, Guess Who,Collin Ray, Billy Dean. He toured as drummer for Bobby Vee, Del Shannon and Little Anthony.

Rick graduated from MDSU and worked for a major bio-tech company for 25 years while still performing part-time.

He has retired in Payson and continues to perform with Sol DeVille.

 

George Manser

Guitars

George began playing guitar and formed his first band 'The Hangsmen' while in grade school. Through High School, The Hangsmen were playing local dances and rockin the bars throughout the Toledo, Ohio area. After getting married in the late 70s, helping to raise four kids made the 80s and 90s a fast-paced blur. In the mid-2000s George got back into the music scene playing guitar in Lagerhead, a classic rock southern rock valley band and later as lead guitarist in 'The Local Boys' playing retro blues and rock. In 2010, George moved to rim country and became one of the founding members and lead guitarist in 'Plum Crazy'. Most recently, George has been playing in country ride with gigs throughout Rim country George is pleased to be given the opportunity to join Sol DeVille.

Arnold Martinez -  Bass, Vocals

Born and raised in Superior Arizona, Arnold is a valley based, bass player and vocalist now residing in Beaver Valley Arizona.With 56 years of musical experience, Arnold has toured and played professionally for a period of 13 years which consisted of studio work, opening acts, club venues and every genre of the music business.

Touring consisted of the western, central and southern regions of the United States, Las Vegas, Canada and the Hawaiian Islands. Some concert headline acts which he shared the stage with are; Tower of Power, Ike & Tina Turner, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jose Feliciano, Freddie Fender, David Ruffin, John McLagughlin Mahavisnu Orchestra, Buddy Miles Express, Lee Oscar & War and the Les Brown Orchestra. Just to name a few.

 


John Scott-Guitar/Vocals

John plays guitar and sings.


David Rowell - Guitar, Vocals.

David began playing guitar at six years old and was making money at it by the time he was fourteen.
He started playing clubs at 18 and worked full time while raising a family.
David has played with some of New England's best musicians and has opened up for Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Tammy Wynette, John Anderson and many more.
After touring 6 countries in Europe playing many different styles, David has come to realize R&B is his first love as a style.
"When it comes to guitar, David has forgotten more than I've learned yet" says John, "I am so glad to have him with us, he adds such beautiful colors to our sound".
